Debbie Baer, Honorary Pastor

Debbie was pastor from July 1989 to 2016. The congregation voted to keep her as our honorary pastor. She grew up at Beech Fork and is a 1969 graduate of Northwest High School. She attended Faith Bible Institute. Called to preach in 1971, her first ministry was with her brother Gary Brown and wife Cathy. They sang as the Brown Trio in numerous revivals, camp meetings and special services. She married Mark in 1972 and they preached together as the family sang. They have two children:  Brian who is a full time minister with Evangelistic Outreach and Assistant Pastor of Rubyville Community Church. He and his wife Heather have two children, Abby and Alex. Their youngest, Bethany, is an intermediate principal at Western Schools and married to Mick Whitt who is the pastor of Life Change in Piketon, Ohio. They have two children; Haley and Noah. Debbie is an anointed preacher and was a great leader of this congregation of over 300 people. Mark helps with the business, music and teaching.
