Pastor's Message

Welcome.

This is a time of uncertainty. A Time when our plans have been turned upside down, but as children of God we have no reason to fear. Psalm 121: 3-7. "He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul."

The basis for our confidence is not a belief that nothing will ever go wrong. We live in a fallen world and we know that's just not true. While He does not promise to make us comfortable, He does promise to make us like His son. Romans 8:28-29, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His son."God never takes a day off and He never leaves us to face our troubles on our own. Hebrews 13:5, "For He has said I will never leave thee nor forsake thee."

We are in this thng together. Let's keep on trusting and loving God and each other. He will bring us through this stronger than ever with a greater faith in Him. We are looking for ways to continue worship and a sense of community. Please bear with us through this time and we'll try to keep you informed each week through the One Call system. If at anytime you need food or assistance in getting medications, do not hesitate to call. Please check our service schedule to find out when services are being held. Sunday school will be starting up again soon. We are making preparations for them with social distancing in mind.

Until next time, Numbers 6: 24-26. "The Lord bless thee and keep thee. The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."
